Making the Most of the Morning

Our senior dog decided it was a good idea to start barking before six a.m. this morning. After getting up with her, feeding her, and letting her out, I got in a workout.

Sat down and did 1,000 words on Ravaged (working title of my Bigfoot novel), and had a few cups of coffee.

Instead of bemoaning being woken up at six, I decided to make the most of the time. The house was quiet (other than the barking elderly poodle), and I enjoyed coffee, working out, and writing.
